LINK, Marion Frances - Peacefully at Watford Quality Care Nursing Home, on Monday, February 2nd, 2015. Marion Frances Link (nee Nagel) in her 93rd year. Watford was her new home for only 5 days and formerly of Trillium Village, Strathroy and Mount Brydges. Mom is now at peace and pain free & has joined her late husband Wilbert (2012). They were partners in life for 59 years, as well as business partners of Link Apiaries. Cherished mom of Shirley Gubbels (nee Link) & beloved mother-in-law of Patrick. Dedicated loving gramma to Cade, Dane & predeceased by grandson Cody (2013). Will be missed by her 4 legged furry grand-doggy "Maggie". Marion is now with her brother Bill Nagel who passed away January 27th, 2015. Uncle Bill and mom had a very loving brother and sister bond and would still talk on the phone to each other every night until the end. Born and raised in South Caradoc to Charles & Ethel Nagel before moving to Delaware then to Mount Brydges where they had their honey farm. She loved watching her 3 grandsons play hockey and baseball. Was a volunteer with the Mount Brydges "Jr. D" Bulldogs, the 50/50 lady and a long time listener and supporter of the Strathroy Rockets. Deeply missed by her sisters-in-law Dorothy Shellington & Betty Gaiser and nieces & nephews and many friends especially Cathy, Diane, Karen, Ria & Daisy. Special thanks to VON assisted living at Trillium Village, Strathroy, staff at S.M.G.H & the many volunteers who visited with her. Friends were received at the ELLIOTT-MADILL KOMOKA CHAPEL (22568 Komoka Road) on Thursday, February 5th, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral service followed on Friday from the chapel commencing at 2:00 pm. Pastor's Dave Adams & Stephen Self officiating. Interment Mount Brydges Cemetery.
